BS Artservice was founded to develop an online shopping solution tailored to the art industry’s specific needs: authentication of works of art, handling of unique items and creating a trustworthy digital environment for art transactions.

By partnering up with Parallel Vienna, the largest fair for contemporary art in Vienna, we were able to directly develop our service for our core client base: artists, galleries, and art institutions.

Funding through a grant provided by AWS (Austria Wirtschaftsservice) not only helped BS Artservice in financing an initial prototype, but also validated the commercial potential of our business plan.

In the future, BS Artservice strives to further expand our online presence by offering added services for the art industry in a digital environment. These services include media documentation, transport & handling as well as insurance brokerage.
